Today during the driving test the solar car’s front axil and chassis were damaged, as a result of the car jumping the curb. Luckily the driver was not injured in the crash. Following the crash, the car was taken back to the shop at which point we cut away the shrink wrap. We were relieved the find that only the axil was bent. For the remainder of the day, we repaired the axil and started to repair the chassis. Tomorrow our hope is to finish repairing the chassis, reinstall the axil, and begin rewrapping the car.
