We’re back! Because we ran out of shrinking tape on Monday, we had to wait for it to be shipped in the mail. Luckily for us, that wasn’t the only thing that arrived last night, with the Midnite Charge Controller coming in as well. Today, we continued to wrap up the front of the car and began shrink-wrapping the back of the car. Today’s good news is that we found out that the solar panels were not damaged when the charge controller shorted out. The bad news is that the Arduino (a small computer that controls the telemetry) was damaged. However, we think that it can be fixed. With the race less than a month away, we are really glad that we are almost done with both finishing and repairing the car!
