Welcome to the Wylie East Solar Car Team!

We’re a high school team from Wylie, Texas, passionate about designing, building, and racing solar-powered cars. Each year, we compete in the Solar Car Challenge, a national competition where teams from across the country race full-sized solar cars. The challenge takes place either as a lap race at the Texas Motor Speedway or as a thrilling road trip across the southern United States.
