We had great success today with our car finishing scrutineering and the judge interview! We are now officially in the race! We also worked on the car’s decals today, adding the skulls and website URL to the shrink wrap. Tonight was the opening banquet for the Solar Car Challenge, which was held in the 9th-floor ballroom at the Texas Motor Speedway Club. We took the opportunity to take a group photo of the track. Since we finished scrutineering with time to spare, we decided to relax and hang out in the pool at the hotel after the banquet and get some extra sleep!
