With the car passing scrutineering yesterday, we were able to sleep in today for the first time in almost a week. The first thing we did today was take the official photo of the 2019 Solar Car Challenge (look for us in the front on the right!). In order to not waste the extra time perfecting the car, Jacob and Travis worked on improving aerodynamics and reducing friction. This was done by changing the back wheel’s bearings and adding aerodynamic features to the panel supports. Noah worked on taping up the shrinkwrap of the car, while Landry and Jaxson helped other teams (Liberty Christian and Sol Starz), and I worked on media outreach. We are ready to start the race tomorrow!
